The Vartek Team is headed to Columbus next month to join the Ohio Department of Education at the annual Ohio Educational Technology Conference (OETC).

The Ohio Educational Technology Conference is the premier educational technology conference in Ohio, providing educators and technology coordinators the opportunity to network and discuss current and future educational technologies through workshops, breakout sessions, speakers and an Exhibit Hall of leading companies and emerging trends!

Vartek is excited to contribute to the Infrastructure and Integrity learning track with our session on Cybersecurity, led by Technology Director Glenn Corson, CETL. Glenn’s session is  Concurrent Educational Session #4 on Tuesday afternoon (February 11) at 1 pm.

Attendees to this learning session will walk away with an understanding of:

  • Why education and training should be a critical component of your IT security plan
  • How to become a more savvy consumer of digital services
  • How to change digital behavior to strengthen cybersecurity defenses
  • How to educate students and staff to spot the signs of a phishing attempt

After you’ve heard Glenn’s discussion on cybersecurity end-user education, we encourage you to visit the trade show and stop by booth 1031, to learn more about the value in being a Vartek partner.
